Congratulations To Our 2020 Rising Stars

This year, three of our poetry students have been selected to compete in the 2020 Appelley Publishing contest. Our students competing are Callie Young (6th Grade), Adrianna Alli (7th Grade), and Niya Brown (8th Grade). The South Side students will be published in the 2020 Rising Stars Collection, and they’re in the running for the annual poetry book. This will be the second year in a row that Niya Brown has been a published poet.
